Dear me, gosh 

Is progressive thought a character of white people? Is believing in personal freedom and liberty the monopoly of whithy? Thoughts are free my dear. It’s OK to have independent thought and once you do you begin to question things then you’ll see clearly.

Question why in some countries adultery is a criminal act and who benefits from it. I’ll give you a clue; it’s not women.

I don’t have to be a woman to believe in women’s rights and equally I don’t have to be white to have liberal views. If in your eyes you believe I’m trying to be white then so be it. it doesn’t bother me.

I don’t believe in black magic, unlike many Bengalis, and use a knife and folk when eating at home by myself. Using your logic I’m spitting in the face of Bengali culture. There are many things that my parents do that are just plain wrong but I don’t blame them for it because they don’t know any better and too old to learn but people here have no excuse. 

I just want to know why you have these views about Bengali culture and mentality? And why u have to wash away this 'backword thinking culture'? My advice to u is no matter how hard u try ur skin will still be brown and not white? so I'd just give t up know.

I almost forgot....... Does a white guy who eats with his hands make him more unsophistcated then u, who we all know to be  the most educated sophisticated and cultred person not only on the forum but probably in modern Britain?  (seriously I don't get what the way u eat has got anything to do with it please explain).

Keep the posts up it so we on NB can learn how to be civilised from u, and stop eating curry and rice with our hands

He's apologising to the world to save his own public image thats why, he wants to save his reputation/image so he can keep all those sponsership deals and all the $$$ he makes from them

This revenge mentality is a sickness that is common amongst people with a strong faith, especially in Islam, which is ironic because the Quran says that there is no other judge besides Allah.

By your assertion, I take it you accept the Qu'ran?
Doesn't Allah also say 'Obey Allah and His Messenger'?

Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger" But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers [3:32]

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian [4:80]



So we Obey Allah and His Messenger, Muhammed (SAW) - hence why we adhere to his Sunnah, his example and practices. Furthermore, let's see what else the Qur'an suggests:

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result [4:59]

But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission [4:65]

It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error [33:36]


As Muslims we refer all matters back to the Qur'an and Sunnah.

If someone cheats on you then leave them and move on. Don’t become consumed by revenge. If you have a strong faith then why seek punishment; why not leave that to whatever god you pray too? And in reality those who suffer under the law, in countries that criminalising adultery, are most often women.

What’s the point in criminalising adultery other then taking revenge?

Bit of a warped mentality, is that not?

We have a penaly code even in the secular society – so do you see any form of retribution and reprimand as a means of revenge?
What kind of society would we have when we turn a blind eye to everything?

One has a moral duty over their family, community and society.
Adultery is a social transgression – the devastation from which will only affect you if you were somehow related to that incident. It may be easy to forget about ones girlfriend and move on, but what about if your own mother, sister, wife got caught up in it – would you still turn a blind eye?
